Holy crap what a night.
Well Mom, you were right. Maddie was a r-o-y-a-l PAIN tonight. I don't know what her deal was but it wasn't pretty. Apparently the no nap situation isn't the best idea. I know she was tired from the night before. She was awake for about an hour and a half in the middle of the night and was up at 6:30, but still. She was a serious butthead tonight.
Dylan said to me "I don't know why I act so bad sometimes." So I had to explain to him that it's not that he acts bad, its what he says and how he says it. I told him if he would think before speaking, he'd have no problems. He just doesn't think before speaking. I sometimes wonder if he thinks at all, because it seems to me that he thinks out loud.
Tomorrow is Dylan's filling appointment so I'm getting off early. Thank goodness. Work is a total zoo right now. My getting off early isn't helping the situation either, it just means my work is going to pile up even more. Whoopeee
If he's feeling okay after his appointment we're going to get Maddie and go to Silverdale to get his costume. Originally Maddie was going to be a kitty, but Dad and Cheryll bought this cute little Fairy Princess costume for her, not for a halloween costume but just cause she likes to dress up, and then she decided she wanted to wear that for halloween. So I was going to pick up a long sleeved white shirt and pants to go underneath it BUT then she said again she wanted to be a kitty. I think I'll just have both costumes ready just in case. She is a woman ya know, she has the right to change her mind on a moments notice. Dylan on the other hand has decided against Anakin Skywalker ever since he saw the Dr. Doom costume at Target. I had told him before NO SCARY COSTUMES. But this one isn't that scary, so I think it'll be okay.

I don't care how much crap piles up on my desk, it doesn't make me want to do it. Sometimes I just have these days that i want to walk away and not come back. Today is one of them. It doesn't help that i hung a new picture of maddie up and it makes me smile everytime I look at it.

Today is my daddy's 50th birthday. I took him out to lunch at JJ's fish house on the water and it was good.

Two weeks ago our living room looked totally different.
Please excuse the mess, when I took these pictures things were still not put away from arranging the furniture.
Our new TV and Stand
Our new loveseat and lamp (this is maddie expressing how much she loves it,she just threw herself on it)
Our new couch. I actually moved the kids pictures over on the wall behind the couch where the other picture is because the lamp was blocking them.
